Fig & Cocoa Flat Bread
with Goat Cheese

Fig Cocoa

Serves 7-9

1 Package Naan / flat breads
1 jar Pope’s Fig & Cocoa Spread
6 oz. Goat cheese
½ # Bacon
½ Small red onion
¼ # Arugula

Preheat Oven to 450º. Cook off the bacon until lightly crisped. Remove from pan, set aside and discard most of the bacon grease. Slice the onion. Sauté the onion in the remaining bacon grease. Warm the naan in the oven for approximately 3-4 minutes. Crumble the goat cheese and bacon, wash and loosely chop the arugula. Toss the bacon, onion, and arugula together in a bowl. When the naan has been warmed, remove it from the oven and spread with a layer of Pope’s Fig & Cocoa. Top with the arugula, onion and bacon and finish with the goat cheese. Cook just until the goat cheese is soft and begins to melt. Remove from oven, slice and serve warm.
